So today is my Grandmothers 78th birthday (happy birthday granny!) She asked me to make a cake for her to share with her friends. She gave me absolutely no instructions on what she wanted, so I decided to make flowers (big shock!!!) I think it turned out quite well, as before with the sugar paste flower bouquet it does get quite tricky to put them together. I took it around to her yesterday and she really liked it. I hope it all gets eaten :) The cake is a sponge cake with a little lemon zest to give it some flavour.
