Maurice Bishop

Hi all,

On a fairly recent trip down to devon I came across an artist called Maurice Bishop. His work instantly captured me, the moods he created with oil on canvas, and his thoughtful compositions are dream like. I love the colours and textures he uses. They are so soft and calming, I could just stare at them all day...

'Where sheep web' - The pinks and purples softly blend together, and the river looks like glass with no ripples.

'Bluebell path' - I love the light filtering through the trees, and the bright colours of the bluebells against the darker green of the forest.

'Early Morning'

'Puttsborough to Woolacombe' - footprints leading to the sea, with the setting sun tinting the sky with orange and pinks.

'Together, early morning Lynmouth' - We loved this one so much that we got a print!
