Book Review: Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty

Hi all,

Here is another book review/peek from one of my favourite designers. I would have given anything to have been able to see this exhibition in the Met in New York. Instead I was able to get the book, which, if its anything to go by, indicates that the exhibition would have been jaw dropping. The book captures some of McQueens best pieces, throughout his career. From his postgraduate collection from CSM, to his last and final collection before his death. The photos are breathtaking capturing his amazing skills as a tailor, and a creative designer. The words by Sarah Burton at the end of the book really help to give another dimension to the designer. His death was such a loss to the fashion industry, as he had so much more to give though his impact through design will live on........
